Signing the code
The Code will have 2 classes of signatories
- Participants in the RLSC will have the status of participating signatories and will assume obligation under the Code. Participants include retailers, logistics and transport providers.
- Industry bodies or associations, such as the ALC, will have the status of endorsing signatories without assuming any direct obligations under the Code but will endorse and support the principles of the Code.
If your company is interested in signing the RLSC Code of Conduct, you can apply by post to the Australian Logistics Council. The Code Management Group will review your applications. Applicants will then be forwarded the code document for signature and will be registered by the ALC as a code partner. An administrative fee of $250/- is payable to the ALC at the time of signing the document.
