Steering Groups

The 2006 Position Statements will establish the policy position of ALC on key strategic issues and outline the work agenda for 2006. They also include proposals for specific, measurable actions that, once endorsed by ALC, will be the basis for detailed resource planning and allocation. These proposals have been developed by the various Steering and Working Groups of ALC and have been circulated for comment.

A report to Federal Cabinet on implementation of the Australian Logistics Industry Strategy (ALIS) is due in 2006. This review will be included in the ALC work agenda.

These actions build on the 2005 Position Statements and associated actions that are listed in Annex A.  They also continue to address the recommendations of the Australian Logistics Industry(BINGOGALA) Strategy listed at Annex B.
